With the cooperation with En Afizul (Apy Hydroponik), 20 students from the Integrated Special Education Program took part in the course. On 22nd to 26th April 2024, Farm Tokou was the training provider for the hydroponic course at DUN N.40 Bingkor, Keningau. A total of 20 participants attended the 5-day course. Huge thank you to JPSM for sponsoring this course and giving this opportunity to the community of Bingkor, Keningau.
On 4th to 8th March 2024, Farm Tokou conducted Chili Fertigation System Course in Kolej Komuniti Sandakan sponsored by Jabatan Pembangunan Sumber Manusia (JPSM) Negeri Sabah. A total of 20 participants took part in the 5-day course.
From 4th to 8th March 2024, Farm Tokou was appointed by Bioeconomy Corporation to handle BeST 2.0 Programme Technical Hands-On Training for Agribiotechnology at U-Science, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). This program involves 23 participants from Sabah dan Sarawak and consists of graduates of various IPTA and IPTS all over Malaysia.
On 15 & 16 February 2024, Farm Tokou was appointed by Pertubuhan Peladang Kawasan Penampang to conduct Technical Hydroponic Crop Course involving 50 members of peladang. At the end of the course, each participant was given Hydro Vertical System, AB fertilizer, EC meter and nursery tools.
On 15 – 17 December 2023, Farm Tokou was invited as a guest trainer by Emas Hijau Agroventure to train 10 participants for Hydroponic Technical Course at Kg Bukit Mengidam, Beluran.
A 5-day course (6 – 10 November 2023) on hydroponic was conducted by Farm Tokou, sponsored by Jabatan Pembangunan Sumber Manusia (JPSM). A total of 20 participant from Penampang attended the course and was trained by a guest instructor, En Afizul Jamal.
In collaboration with Emas Hijau Agroventure, Farm Tokou conducted a 3 day-course on fertigation with 10 participants from Papar on 18 to 20 October 2023.

Farm Tokou was invited by Malaysian Bioeconomy Corporation to showcase the Modern Farming System in Sabah Agro Expo (SAEX 2024) which took place in Sabah International Convention Centre on 26 - 28th July 2024.
On 28th June 2024, In conjunction with National Training Week (NTW), Farm Tokou was invited by HRDCorp Sabah to showcase the modern farming system to nearby communities.
On 18 May 2024, In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture Sabah, Farm Tokou successfully joined the Kaamatan Fiesta in Penampang.

Farm Tokou was the 1st Prize Winner in Iltizam Social Impact Accelerator Sabah 2022.
Mr Gerald Thomas Wong was invited on stage to give a short talk on integrated farming (Aquaponic System) during the Mini Carnival at D'Arc Hotel.
During the Social Entrepreneurship Summit 2022, the director of Farm Tokou, Mr Gerald Wong Thomas, was invited as one of the panels for Food Security: Safety & Sustainability.
In conjunction to Sabah Agro Expo (SAEX) 2022, we set up a booth for 3 days from 28th to 30th October 2022. Farrah and Bernadette were in charge of entertaining booth visitors.
During the Borneo Tech Summit 2022, Datuk Zainudin Aman visited our booth. Mr Gerald explained how the Smart Aquaponic Technology works and how it can help modern farmers to monitor their crops.
FARM TOURS
On 31st July 2024, Encik Jifrin Hj Mohamad, Director of Department of Agriculture Sabah visited Farm Tokou to assess the on-going agricultural project.
On 22 March 2024, the CEO of Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM), Dr Sharmila Mohamed Salleh paid a visit to 3 beneficiaries for the Project: Modern Farming with the community of Penampang under the Porgram MyIS Community.
On 5th Feb 2024, Farm Tokou received a visit from RISDA to monitor the Projek Agromakanan RISDA.
On 2nd of April 2024, students from Kolej Vokasional Lahad Datu visited Farm Tokou to learn a little on the operation our modern farm such as aquaponic, hydroponic system and fertigation.
On 7 March 2024, Farm Tokou received a visit from the Agropreneur Muda Program Unit. Here, we have been sharing about our field operations including sharing about aquaponics, hydroponic and fertigation systems done on our field.
On 16 November 2023, newly appointed officers from Agricultural Institute from all regions of Sabah visited Farm Tokou.
On 23 October 2023, the Directors of Kolej Komuniti around Sabah visited Farm Tokou as means of benchmarking and discussion on collaboration for Aquaponic and Hydroponic System to be implement in their respective communal college.

OTHERS
On 29th June 2024, Farm Tokou had successfully organized “Majlis Perasmian dan Gimik Penyerahan Sistem Hidroponik” to the modern farmer community in Sook, Keningau. This community project was fully supported by Yayasan Hasanah and officiated by YB Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup.
On 3 December 2023, Farm Tokou signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kolej Komuniti Tambunan as means of strategic cooperation.
On 25 November 2023, Farm Tokou was the first to be certified myGAP.PF (Pesticide Free) in Sabah. This certificate is a recognition our farm practice good agricultural practices focusing on environmentally friendly, employee welfare, safety and do not use synthetic insecticide to produce quality and safe-to-eat food.
Our first CSR activity as a team! We organized a beach cleaning activity and welcomed everyone’s assistance to pick up trash in Tanjung Aru Beach. In return, the volunteers will receive Aquaponic Vegetables fresh from our farm for FREE!
CSR Program by Politeknik Sandakan was organized by Farm Tokou at Mr Cyril’s greenhouse in Kg Maang. A total of 33 students and 3 lecturers attended the program.
A collaboration between Farm Tokou and Kolej Matrikulasi Labuan for their IoT product testing to get a live parameter readings such as temperature and humidity.
Mr Gerald is one of the winners for TERAJU SUPERB 2020.
